You can actually leave it at the "safe" res spot, and it should be safe. Except in green amibs where the digger's pickaxe attack on the lower floor will kill it. You need to move it. I used to do it, but deemed it not worth the hassle.
When I started doing them and was focused on max gp, I'd being a packy in and park em at the entrance.
I really appreciate the answers, but I just don't see why they are so valuable. I have 3 laying around, so I'll do my first one soon, but not sure if I'd buy more.
The first amib I ever ran I got a blood wall tile. I was so pumped. The cost for doing a handful could be justified with getting the experience, adventure, and challenge they bring to a player whose new to them. For players that want to pound them out, have a better chance at getting the rares. I dont think doing them casually is suppose to make you rich, but amibs are more intended to provide an instance of fun outside of normal farming we have all been doing for 20 odd years. But getting a blood tile or hanging net is a great feeling when it happens. And if I ever get the necromancers 1109 tomb or whatever it is, may not be a blaze spell book but will still give this guy a lil nerd boner.
necroalert Think of them as a low effort platinum conversion factory. Last column is "input plat value"... I threw in 6k for an example.
