Taming @ 95+

HUGE shoutout to Mes! Wow....this guy hooked me up big time.

Spent 5 1/2 hours macroing taming at one of his houses while he force fed me single tame hell hounds hellcats and lava lizards until I hit GM. FOR 5 1/2 HOURS HE TIRELESSLY TAMED AND BROUGHT ME ANIMALS AND ASKED FOR NOTHING IN RETURN!!

What a guy! TYVM Mes! That was clearly above and beyond just some help I don't know how many hundreds of animals he brought me but it was a lot and i can only imagine how long it would have taken me without this help.

I'm speechless. I can't even begin to describe how much he hooked me up by doing this or how grateful I am! He even offered to take me mare hunting after! I declined......the gm taming is MORE than enough help.

What. A. Mf'n. BOSS!

That's what makes UOR! Great guys like mes who will spend hours helping you and guys like pfr who will spend hours killing you and guys like me who add absolutely nothing but another player to feed to the machine!

Not sure if I'm reading correctly or misreading but Pks and griefers add to the UO experience imo. Without them UO would be a boring theme park. Only just learning who everyone is and what roles they play here.

If PFR is a PK/griefer I personally say TY for the pvp! If not then I thank those who do

Yes you're reading that right. With out pk's UO would be well trammel UO which sucks.

My perspective only but....if it's part of the game it's not griefing imo.

It's expected in uo. If the target doesn't get salty or upset and takes it in stride with said expected gameplay then it's uo not grief no matter what is done!

Part of the game IS grief, or causing grief to others. It's not against the rules but it is absolutely a valid label of actions above and beyond a simple murder and looting.

Quite frankly, the players who do go to those lengths do so mostly because they get excited when a victim of theirs gets upset. This sends them into "Let's see how mad they really get" mode, which in turn leads to players who aren't cut out for real UO, quitting after raging for a time. While I don't support or condone that type of play, it is certainly within the rules of the game and expected, if we really are in Felucca. Some of my best friends and enemies are griefers. lol

I'm no expert, I just did my first tamer EVER...

With that said, I got to 71.1 on ice island dragging leopards and bears, then GM'ed in ~ three days COMPLETELY afk at Britain Bull Pens with a Shepherd toon.

SOOOOOO effing easy I'm mad I didn't do it sooner.
