I'm not disagreeing with a taxation but I certainly think there should be more forms of gold sinks than neon hair dyes and beard dyes before you start going towards something like that.... Bring the premium mask dye/sandals gold sink!
What I learned from this poll... 19 people openly admit they don't like Blaise... Really?? I was really thinking that number would be much higher...
The only thing on the shard that has offered that's really a gold sink, are neon hair dye and name change deeds, so far. I disagree with this, Blaise, as my main gold sink has been housing . (creating a player town, etc) All open houses are usable to players, such as smith shop, etc. Granted this is a one time buy in most cases, but the large homes are pricey. My other gold sink is regents. I don't buy off of player vendors. Of- course to some of you. ( Multi-millionaires, lol, ) not a large gold sink. I also disagree with not having Plat Vendors. I think paging Staff, anytime someone wanted to buy a plat item, might prove to be an issue. The player base here is steadily growing...Which is a great thing...But also causes more GM paging things. Thanks Westra
OOOPs. forgot to say, I am for the super rare mask dyes. I think that would be a fun thing for many of our players.
Westra, housing as a gold sink is specifically finite. There's only so many houses that can be placed and the only way the gold actually goes out of the economy is if you let them decay and lose them. You can always redeed so your gold is just in stasis. Reagents aren't being used at any rate that is significant enough to cause any leveling of gold amount increasing on the shard.
Eh, I would bet that house decay and reagant burning is far and away the greatest gold sink currently, just because they happen far more frequently. Anyways, we're all in agreement, super expensive rares are cool.
