Only problem is you get stuck when you leave if you don't have Recall. hehe Unlikely, I know, but newbs can solve riddles too!
Picked the chest in the Serpent's Hold hidden room - inside was a large stone vase. Is this expected behavior? I see only 15 of these exist currently. Is there some small chance of spawning a unique rare with these chests? I would certainly rotate through these more if that was the case.
Probably a rare, were you able to snag it? Might have to actually steal it from the chest if you couldn't grab it
Yes, I grabbed it without having to steal. Actually for full disclosure I put it back in the chest to take the screenshot (because my first instinct was grab the loot, not take a screenshot). The chest spawned with the typical 'a lost treasure reveals itself from the darkness' message that I see in the other hidden rooms. I have always just found gold, magic weapons, reagents, scrolls, jewelry, ocassionally platinum coins in them. Never a unique item. I thought they were always Level 1-4 or whatever standard pickable chests.
Legend has it theres a large keep in Yew covered in trees with many of the others on the roof… definitely not my house…. Theres also small stone vases in there that occasionally spawn. Many more hidden rooms for you to find!
Interesting.... That person who is definitely not you has a monopoly on nearly half the stone vases that exist. I'll take that as a sign to keep plugging away at the hidden rooms.
They’re surprisingly not very sought after. If you put the time in you’ll find them. Good luck with the hunt!
Also, in solving the riddles and unlocking the rooms, it seems like the rooms that have traps in them never spawn chests, whereas the rooms without traps do (on timers). Can you confirm this to be your experience as well?
