I feel like someone should reach out to this man and figure out why he left UOR...dude was ingrained and a staple. Spoiler alert, he didn't stop playing UO.

For reference I showed up for the aftermath and saw that he literally dropped it with all his possessions in it. Meanwhile someone that clearly was established here was giddy that he might be able to place an L-shape here

The guy who placed the blocker where the patio was has been here for 3-4 months tops and owns the house next door. I also feel like he is going to do a lot of good with that house, helping other players, just like he has done up to this point.

It is still possible...I placed one in a jungle clearing last night .. not an idoc situation or at least not a recent one...just a clearing that didn't look like it could fit at first...I was a bit surprised but I had several house sizes with me and tried the larger first a few times and was happily pleased.

I will look for another similar spot and if I find one I will message you the coordinates so you can place.

Fair enough, I hope he does. Wylwrk was a legend, always a friendly face around these boards and a constant that I could count on him being here despite my flightyness of on and off play the couple times real life/other hobbies took me away. It's sad to see him go

Feel free to discord message me, there's multiple spots for L's....you'd have to settle for a mining node or 2 on the ground vs an actually mountain but it is better than nothing

    Hi all! I'm new here.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned yet that I think would be helpful would be to somehow make it easier to contact home owners. I ran across and marked about 50 patio or larger houses all in awesome spots that appear empty and unused but there's no way to contact the owner. Only advice I got was to leave a book on the steps and pray.

    I’ve thought this before too!

I’m sure it’s a coding nightmare but in my head as the owner of the house would of needed an email to register their account, it isn’t outside the realms of possibility to have a “mailbox” on the house that opens up a Gump you can type a message in that is sent to the home owners registered email with your contact details.

Alternatively a guestbook Gump that can accessed by double clicking the sign for us and viewable by the owner when also clicking the sign.

Wasn't there a time when you could use html as your sign name to give colours and stuff?
Might have been a later addition to the game, however that would help with the above

Could you imagine the harassment spam of someone sending you emails from this game? Or even as a private message system through the house?
