    That's normal.

What @wylwrk meant to say was that is the normal before-login window for razor. You need to right-click the razor icon to get to the icon properties not double-left-click it to run razor (I do not have win10 - I still use win7).

    This is rather odd, eh?

So you run razor (admin mode), click "okay", the game loads, you log in, and when you check razor it's still exactly as pictured above?

Does it go to your taskbar by chance or is it lumped up with your hidden icons (over by the clock) section?

Instead of selecting open or run as administrator, select Properties.

Thanks for your assistance, @Azerothian @wylwrk

I updated my original message (page 2) to show what I've learned about troubleshooting Razor on a Windows 10 PC.

EDIT: Apparently you HAVE to use C:\Ultima Online as your installation path.

I'm trying to make a hotkey for activating a dagger and another for scissors. I made a macro for each: double click (item type), wait for target. Then i set the hotkey to activate the macro. The problem is that when i hit the hotkey, the text displays "what do you want to use this on" but no target tool pops up. After two or more tries it works, but never on the first try. Any thoughts?

Never mind, I figured out what my problem was. I needed a very short pause in between the double click command and the wait for target command.

I don't have any images for this and hopefully they won't be needed.

I login into UOR via Razor. My razor window continues to reset to the upper left corner of the desktop. This happens on all 3 clients. I have to drag my razor window to where I like it each time I login. Any ideas why razor will not save its window location?'

I run as admin and in compatability mode as instructed. I have all files installed to default directories.

I have tried to change the setting in the razor profile files for x and y, but it still doesnt save the desktop location.

How do you close each instance of UO?

Do you share same character names among diff accounts?

Do you use the default razor profile or do you use custom ones? Do you name them? How so? By character name by chance?

I logout. I do not click the X.

I do not have the same character names across different accounts.

I use custom ones. I name them. For my tamer characters, they are by name. For the rest, I have a UOR1 UOR2 and UOR3 profile for random toons on each account. Some share that profile. I also have Craft 1-3 for my crafters, but not named for each toon.

the default profile also snaps to the top left.

    Some maybe’s

Windows has a window arrangement helper setting/app? Is that running?
There are other third party props that do the same like, SnapGrid.

    Oh,
    Is UO saved in C?
    Is razor in programs(x86)?
Can you find your profile folder and is it in the same app data path as described in most documentation about the program?

I will check on the windows helper app. Not sure about htat one.

UO is in C. razor installed to just programs, not the (x86). I will give this one a shot for corrective action.

profile folder is in the appdata location per documentaion.

I changed it to x86 folder. no change.

I clickd the setting to prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen and no change.

I started moving the razor window to diferent locations. I found that when the window is snapped to the top and right corner edges, it wants to default to the top left on restarting. If I slide the razor window off the right edge of the screen, then It will hold its position snapped to the top edge. I am not sure what that is about exactly, but thanks for the help @wylwrk

I stack my other two accounts razor windows under the first one. Those two razor windows are holding positions snapped to the right edge.

Reboot after disabling the window app? I had to for mine.

After that, I would MOVE all profiles out of the folder for safe keeping. Start UO, make a new profile set a few common settings, log out, close UO, start again and see what happens.

If the app window holds last known position, then I have to assume it’s a file issue.

I did not reboot. I will do that setting again and try once more. If there is still an issue, I will jsut slide it over away fromt he right edge and try to not let my OCD drive me crazy with that small gap.
