Vella's Keep Set to Collapse april 23

Vella, hate to see you go, I don't know you in game (at least not that I know of, can't keep track of everyone's alts) but I do consider you an irc friend. We've been part of some interesting conversations in that venue. As you might know, I am basically a solo player. Which limits my getting to know lot of players alts.

I was busy with family all day yesterday, or I would have joined in the fun. Real life first.

I got a "Knight's Strongbox" and a Tambourine! It was fun and the strongbox is a nice storage container for my ingots

That was fun. Got an ancient treasure chest, a handful of slayers, a few thousand regs, and 1,308 diamonds. Oh, and deeds for 1,250 iron ingots and 1,250 boards. And a batwing. I think that's everything. Managed to get in before viper relocked the doors, so I made two trips.

Just wished there were more EVs. Maybe next time.

1st anniversary green ring

I got 2nd anniversary bracelet (greenish) and earrings (blaze orange), along with 2 bank checks for 280k. Sold the jewelry for a fair price and managed to procure almost 500k. No uber rares to speak of, but hell of a lot easier then farming blood eles for the night.

Side note: my razor is set to auto search all bags upon bringing them into your pouch. This is mainly for display counting. So I was literately stuck with loot and couldn't cast or drop anything until Razor went though all the bags. So yes, a big thumbs up to the protectors of the evening and to Vella for putting on good show!

I got a couple nice vanquish weapons and about a dozen instruments. Mostly dragon slaying.

Speaking of loot, when I mentioned my bag of bags (i dyed them all last night and have 3 roof-high stacks in my den ) in IRC, mes and napo gave me 250 plat for a runebook bless, pretty much blowing my mind! again I never got to meet Vella, but the effort his friends went to to make this a fair/beneficial event for new players makes me wish i had the chance. as someone who never played UO before it was really encouraging to get out and interact more (and now that i can carry a runebook it's a lot easier to do so )
