lots of shenanigans going on with forum auctions nowadays I see.

I just want to address the comment that this bid was somehow involved in shenagingas.

i want to let everyone know that the forums bid on the Ice Reaper was for real.
I have no connection to Emoney.

Honestly, i was also thinking i was being played. i thought Mutilate was in cohouts with Emoney.
When i met Emoney to complete the deal i was asking him ..1. "where did you get this item. 2. also questioned him on the fact that
he had just made his account on Forums the day he posted his "trade". I was def a bit concerned if i was being played to "overbid'.

When we met to complete the transaction and i questioned Emoney, he devulged that Mutilate reached out to him to let him know that he (Mutilate) thought that Emoney and i were the same account -- which made him stop bidding. I swear that we are not connected

I just want to advise that i am an "above board" player and highly regard doing the right thing.
i have been on this shard since 2017 and have never done anything sketchy in Forums.
I value my reputation and it speaks for itself.

1. Also Mutilate and i have a history on trades and i would never compromise that relationship.
2. I would never do anything to ruin my reputation.
3. It is E X T R E M E L Y important to me
4. It hurts me that Mutilate has alluded to the fact that my toon may be involved in "sketchiness" while trading. It potentially impacts my future trading "posts" with people remembering this and not wanting to do business with my toon / me.

I can confirm that Shiloh is definitely a legit player.

I was speaking of the fact that the account was registered the day that this thread was made. I regularly overpay for stuff but it should have stopped around 1.5 - 2m... and it kept going.

And the real sketchy shit is Emoney was messaging me on discord enticing me to continue bidding. Very sketchy stuff. Shiloh, i've never had a problem with you at all. If you had nothing to do with this, then that's fine

But to make things clear, I never publicly said anything on the forums degrading you or even accusing you of anything.

During bidding ..... I was actually thinking the same thing as you ... "Are we being played to overbid?
i seriously thought about stopping. I was also surprised that the bidding went that high.
I legit kept bidding because i wanted this item.
