Hail fellow Brittanians, I recently finished my first taming scroll and am looking to fill the 9 bonding slots, however not in the traditional manner where I collect 100k from each of you. Instead I will provide a list of "Feats". If you are able to attend the quest at the listed time, and are the first to complete one of the feats and post screenshots on this thread to prove it, the slot is yours for FREE. Check this thread regularly to assure the feat has not been completed already, in addition I may add additional feats to add some more options. The zookeepers quest will take place in a little over a week from now, hopefully enough time for those interested in joining me to complete a feat. Looking to do it Sunday night (9-7-14) @ 8pm EST. Please do not sign up unless you can make it at that time, if anyone signed up doesn't show up to the quest on time, they will be replaced at my discretion. Note: I would like to reserve the mask of the wilds if it drops. *crosses fingers* Thanks everyone! Bonding Slots: 1) Elhorno 2) Nonameallstar 3) Arnold Lutz 4) Toxic Sparkles 5) Dalavar 6) Zugu 7) Russel 8) Mindless 9) Sixspirit 10) Eugen The Feats 1. Tame 5 snakes and have them kill a scorpian. No magic, veterinary only. 2. Using only Imps, take over the Evil Mage fortresses located on level 2 of Fire Dungeon. Curative magic allowed, no offensive spells. 3. Please let me know and we will make arrangements. Below is a current list of those who are attending w/o bonding slot. They will be great assets and very helpful in our defense. If you haven't been through it or just want to soak up some knowledge. http://uorforum.com/threads/zookeepers-quest-guide.5984/
Well done sir! I commend you on your efforts and will do my best to try to get involved (I want to do the Imp run)
Ya that one is hard! good luck! I tried it earlier to make sure it was doable and got far enough to get a sense that it was possible, just not for a player of my caliber!
For the record, are we talking like Mage Fortress in Fire Dungeon, or specifically one of the spawning Mage Towers? Just like some clarification before I get my heart set on the mission.
Alright, i checked out various mage towers and decided that occlo and fire level 1 would be a cakewalk. So the feat is being updated to be ONLY the mage fortress located in fire dungeon level 2, located south of the efreet spawn.
Hell ya! Congrats on your feat. I fear those snakes of yours. You've been added to the list, see you on the 7th!
9. Kill a Wyvern using only bulls. No magic. Actually not to bad bulls do pretty good dmg and wyvrn have such low hps.
I guess I should have been more specific there El Horno. Sorry you ended up with two easy-ins on board. What I meant was two warriors. Not two players casting para/ebolt over and over again. Most boring/least challenging result ever.
Ya I should have been more specific but its all good. Toxic Sparkles is paying it forward and only taking up 1 slot as well, which is very nice of him. Congrats ToxicSparkles, your on the list! See you on the 7th.
When El horno told me about this I knew it would be a knock out idea! By the way I think he is planning on completing the quest with only rabbits and small marsupials. J/k! I hope you will allow me to come as support (no bonding slot need). I will come up with an epic feat to complete in order to prove my worthiness as one of your color(less) guards!
For your consideration, since it sounded like there was 1 "balron" slot left, I thought it appropriate to try with one character. Apologies for the large screenshots, just wanted to show equipment and stats and such at each stage. Equipment was a full invulnerability suit (plate everywhere, close helm). I think I might have been able to get a couple extra points of AR with a plate helm). Weapon was a +20 Mace of Power and Exorcism. Gated in by an alt to preserve mana: (in between this proud opening and the next fight, I actually perished. Hardest part of this was the constant desynchs... I got stuck in doors a couple of times and that spelled the end of me on the first attempt) 73 AR and I'm still getting hit for 35: Starting to recover a bit: Recast my Magic Reflect but it was quickly brought down. Balron is starting to feel the stamina drain though I think. Hits are coming much slower and I can last much longer toe-to-toe: The Slayer is on death's doorstep. He pauses to greater heal: ...but one more strike is all it takes: Dalavar watches from a safe location, but readies a gate as The Slayer's cousin spawns and approaches for revenge: Balron hits absurdly hard, though a shield would have helped. Though I used a bunch of heal potions, I did try to save them for emergencies. Stamina wasn't an issue, and I think I was only poisoned a few times. So I could have kept a shield up most of the time. Off to Animal Lore one of these guys, they seemingly hit about 75% of the time, maybe more.
