    Oh! well then!
    That settles that.
Thank you keeper of 'not so' hidden knowledge. *ashamed of such foolery on my part*

I used 2 tamed scorpions until 60ish when they went wild. Lured a pair of Wisps into my house next and was 88.8 when I left for work. Will switch to my Dragons when Wisps stop giving gains.

How do you trap wisp? Don't they fly? I f'ing hate this skill, it's such a pain in my ass to gain. Non tamer.

you attack the wisp and drag it into your house, once in place you lock items to hold it into place

This guide is not about that strategy there are guides that use the strategy you all are discussing. Please discuss that strategy on those guide thread. It's off topic on this thread. I even tried to report Dabrixmgp's post but the staff don't seem to care about off topic posts.

Here is a thread that is all about what you three are talking about. Take it there:

Baler will probably yell at me but whatever.

This is how I did it with a trapped wisp inside my house.

Super easy macro. Did wisps from 58.3-90

I was doing some banking and I noticed someone using my guide! :D

I'd also like to remind anyone who decides to post on this thread that it's focus and only focus is training enticement as a tamer with a mount. Not using a house or trapping monsters somewhere. There are plenty of other threads about other training methods. If you're posting about those other methods here you're doing it wrong.

    Cheers!

Great guide! I'm using it for the second time now. I modified the macro a bit. I have a dismount hotkey so I replaced the first double click with that (one less line to have to change). I also changed the pauses from 5 seconds and 12 seconds to 6 seconds and 11 seconds. This shaves off 1 second if you fail.

The first time I did this I just added an "all guard" rather than feeding. But this time around I'll feed for the mare only. I think there is some debate about whether regular "all guard" commands can ever lead to a pet going wild, but no need to risk it since meat is very easy to get and use.

    Dismount:

Another really good thing I just realized....you could use this method for training disco on a non-tamer character. It would be slower because you'd have to assume success every attempt (unless you used communication crystals), but again it would be AFK and slow AFK > less slow attended.

I have written macros to do this with an alt. I can confirm this works. It may be slightly slower than the tamer itself training, however it didn't seem significantly slower.

Macro for tamer on ostard or mare (I don't feed the ostard, only the mare):
    - For 1 to 100
    - Dismount
    - Pause 0.6 seconds
    - say all guard me
    - Pause 2 seconds
    - Re-mount (you'll have to record this line yourself)
    - Pause 17 seconds
    - end for
    - dismount
    - pause 0.5 seconds
    - lift 1 raw ribs by type (keep around 100 or so ribs in your pack)
    - pause 1 second
    - drop onto mare (you'll have to record this line yourself)
    - pause 1 second
    - re-mount (you'll have to record this line yourself)

    !Loop
    Assistant.Macros.ForAction|100
    Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|1473|
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:00.6000000
    Assistant.Macros.SpeechAction|0|52|3|ENU|5|48|7|22|177|153|all guard me
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:02
    Assistant.Macros.DoubleClickAction|2456782|179
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:17
    Assistant.Macros.EndForAction
    Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|1473|
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:00.5000000
    Assistant.Macros.LiftTypeAction|2545|1
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:01
    Assistant.Macros.DropAction|0x257CCE|(-1, -1, 0)|0
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:01
    Assistant.Macros.DoubleClickAction|2456782|179

Macro for non-tamer who wants to train discordance:
    - set last target
    - target by type (ostard or mare)
    - if system message "set"
    - use skill discordance
    - pause 0.5 seconds
    - last target
    - pause 12 seconds
    - double click instrument by type
    - end if

    !Loop
    Assistant.Macros.HotKeyAction|1060|
    Assistant.Macros.TargetTypeAction|True|218
    Assistant.Macros.TargetTypeAction|True|179
    Assistant.Macros.IfAction|4|0|set
    Assistant.Macros.UseSkillAction|15
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:00.5000000
    Assistant.Macros.LastTargetAction
    Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:12
    Assistant.Macros.DoubleClickTypeAction|3762|True
    Assistant.Macros.EndIfAction

I've trained a lot of dragons and mares and only ever used all guard me to keep their loyalty. Had it in my macro twice every minute and their loyalty never fell below wonderful. I'm comfortable in saying that all guard me, used continuously is safe for keeping loyalty. But you're right @Leopold, meat is also very easy to use and get.

I'm using this method now, as my Disco character hasn't raised his taming yet and can confirm this is working beautifully!

For some reason this isn't working for me. Is it because my Frenzied stats are too low?

Unfortunately no. Thanks to some cry babies who were not able to compete against skilled PvPers with their tamers, discordance is now an aggressive act. There might be a very fancy way to set up a macro to either block LOS or tell your pet to stop attacking, but following the directions in this guide directly will result in the pet attacking.

Anyone had success in making this method viable?
