Greetings Fair Travellers ! Peace here of WYNB fame. I seek tales and drawings of the Libraries of Sosaria. In my many trading ventures across the land, these establishments have been invaluable in conducting business and seeking refuge from the perils of the world. I wish to tell you of two that I have found most convivial. I hope you will share your favorites along with a drawing to aid the weary travelers out there. The first library I wish to share with my fellow travelers lies just outside the front gates of Trinsic. I fair city I settled in upon arrival in the lands. It is named for the poor victims of the Notorious Incan Savage - Inti Jiwani. Inti frequents the area making his kills and sacrificing the victims to appease the Incan Gods. It is a colorful library and has seen much use by myself and other weary travelers.
The second Library I frequent in my many travels and adventures resides just southeast of the Moonglow bank on Verity Isle. This Library has waxed and waned in popularity, layout and availability. Most recently it sat dormant and in a state of disrepair. Its owner no longer walked our lands and only peformed the most basic of maintenance to keep the structure from falling. It appears to have recently come under new ownership for it now boasts a robust library. This library even includes the rare and much sought after Encyclopedia Gideon. This compendium of books feature a comprehensive set of locales across our great world. And much to my delight, all the runebooks seem to be fully charged. Very handy for a new traveler or one who has just returned from the realm of shadows. The establishment is named in honor of that lost traveler who has stepped beyond our borders. "Wise Memorial Library - Moonglow" The name hints that there may be another like establishment in another locale. Main Floor The Famed Encyclopedia Gideon
My favorite for many reasons. The Village of Paws Library. Just a bit NW of the shrine of Spirituality.
I was always interested in collecting tales of Sosaria, and wrote some myself, several player libraries on Trammel. I must visit the one in Paws Village.
There are few I know of. Vanaheim, managed by Lord Aidan is one, hosting many runes to interesting locations. Arasys also has a collective list of in-game stories. Both can be found by searching, I'm a bit lazy doing that. Might edit the post afterwards. I'm also weighing the interest of a centralised library where we all host stories and lore of the game (like Compendium but in game with a RP sauce). If people like this idea, I'm willing to buy a tower and see what happens.
With the loss of the Moonglow Location, a new one crops up... YEW Tower, just behind the bank. Open to the public
Brit Gate Rune Library - though it has changed hands, it is now open again. The caretaker here seems to be a bit mad tho...Has the shrubbery ripped up in a fit of madness, yet the books remain and the decorations a fine display
North Corner of the Bank you have Gideon's famed & much copied Encyclopedia Jura... Right next door, you have Rezon's Rares Books
The Revenant Lord's Library [KoS]. Just south and east of the Yew Graveyard, right on the road... http://uorforum.com/threads/rune-library-kos.4711/
Main KoS Guild Hall and Library http://uorforum.com/threads/kos-guild-hall-rune-library.12044/ And their fine Cove City Entrance Library with Unique Instance Timer Clocks in the back room ! http://uorforum.com/threads/kos-cove-rune-library.14665/ Rumors have reached me of more libraries !
If you are wandering about the Brit Coastline heading towards the swamp and Cove, be sure to stop in at the O^S/Faber Rune Library. A very well appointed main floor: And a promising start to the second... Is that the start of a mining runebook set by Ore Color !?!?!
