Try hosting an event once or twice you pompous windbag. I've had event gates for Freesist (community wide events, for the entire shard you know, not some private bullshit) maybe three times total now, out of half a dozen or more Freesist events I've hosted. I've run my own gate bots and spent countless hours running these events, ressing/healing/stocking regs and giving directions to new players, so how about a nice frothy cup of stfu?
As for the Scavenger hunt locations where two locations were up by my house, it's not entirely accurate, but that's no shock coming from a buy-in player such as yourself.. One location was at my smith's tower in the alcove of the North Mines, which I did not find in the top three.
The other was a small tower I inherited from Zagyg, out on the peninsula east of Vesper, which I think I may have pulled third place from.

If you think that's getting things handed to me because I happened to have homes in the area, you're super high and/or mentally challenged. I never asked for them, nor did I have any inside information on any of the scavenger hunt locations. If I did, you better believe I'd be winning the crap out of them. If I recall, I placed, but like 8th or 9th and mostly due to friends who showed up first and told me where to go. It was a good group of friends playing nicely, not admins changing the mechanics because we're too lame to just play the game.

But hey, let's take the word of someone who's admittedly bought their way into a shard before, over someone staunchly opposed to that kind of shit who's actually spent years here SUPPORTING the shard.

    Good day sir.

I recommend a Vent channel. If some in the party don't have a mic you can still listen to the group leader. Easier than typing.

You can bandie heal your pets if they are on the spawn (spectrals) but not when pets are on the bosses. If you use offensive spells on the bosses your group won't need to worry about telling you not to again. If the boss teleports near death we have dumped on them to finish them off prior to the teleport timer resetting. I use decent throw away dragons in the first two stages. You never know how much aggro your going to take in the first two stages. Name your dragons differently. Some uppercase lettering is easier to find but a bunch of "a" and
"b" names are a pain. Make sure tamers have command keys and not trying to type out pet commands also, everyone should know to use control shift while holding it down right clicking names to remove bars till you find the pets name called out for heals then left click hold, drag it off to the side, release.

    First two stages DaTamer covered.

Stage three I would add - instruct everyone to kill spectrals except for one tamer who with trained dragons (or whatever) will stay on the boss. During spectrals don't go North West up into the Titan area. We always stay on the dirt path at first. Hug the wall next to the dirt path and kill spectrals till your choosen tamer can get on the boss without having too many of those red eyed fluffy critters ganging up on his pets. Third stage is when I get my fully trained pair out as long as your with a good group (first two stages will determine that). You may need to help cast GH on the dragons aggroing the boss so keep their bars handy. When all spectrals are dead everyone attack the boss till he respawns another set of spectrals then immediately everyone (except the original tamer who was slated to keep on the boss) go back to killing spectrals. Some people seem a bit slow about going back to spectrals.

Don't hijack Dalavar's post! *points toward trash talk*

You keep bringing up my money man, seriously, let it go.
There is no need for you to be jealous of me, honestly.
There has been a lot of hard work on my part to get where I am financially, so don't sweat it.

Artex, can you explain why you just want one person on the boss? Is that just to keep him occupied, essentially, while the smaller threats are dealt with?

Can one person handle healing their pet solo against a boss?

Buying in-game items with cash, on free player-run servers, is pathetic. I've also worked hard for my money but I also don't cheat to get ahead. You keep bringing up my activity as though I don't do anything here or don't play as much as you do or whatever. When you stop trying to talk shit about me because I don't think you should have easy-street, I'll consider not talking shit about how pathetic you are for buying items in game with real world money.

It's not that everyone else can't afford to, they just aren't that pathetic.

You'll want 1-3 people tanking the boss so that the rest can handle the spectral bunnies as they spawn. They spawn in waves based on the HP of the boss, so the faster that HP drops, the faster those spectrals spawn.

Having someone doing Disco while other tamers tank spectrals, is very handy.

First two stages - (one boss stage at a time like Battered said, tell people not to go north west of the first tent up threw that passage till first stage is clear) kill the bosses spawn as quickly as you can (anaconda first). Then everyone jumps onto the boss since they (the first two bosses) won't respawn what they originally spawned. Just keep the boss busy and split aggro up amongst tamers calling out pets to heal. If your pets have multiple aggros then they'll probably die quickly. You can cast on the boss to get it to teleport out of a group if it's a cluster, just be ready to rez if your unlucky! Your pets will/should follow it out of the cluster and keep attacking it or whomevers closest!

Third stage/boss - While Blaise's opinion is a safe/better method for newer quest parties. Quests I have gone on had Jhile on numerous occasions tank the bunny boss solo (meaning two trained dragons) while the rest of us killed spectrals. Occasionaly his pets may have needed a few GH cast but ninety percent of the time he did fine on his own. When the spectrals spawn it's important people fan out a bit around the boss, drawing aggro of the newly spawned spectrals away from the tamer on the boss. If the tamer on the boss has spectrals on his pets someone needs to kill the spectrals off then continue on to killing the spectrals in the surrounding area.

I can handle two spectral bunnies on my own but, three is a bit harder to keep your pets healed up (so they are doing good damage).... for one tamer.

Jhile is in the top spot for the Rabbit boss kills. http://www.uorenaissance.com/info/CaerbannogRabbit

Yeah, some of the folks in the last one I ran in were handling 3-4 spectrals at a time with their two dragons, but most likely because of Discordance. Having a couple folks on the boss just makes it go by slightly faster, so you can dial to suit your party. If you have enough folks to handle the spectrals, you can stack more on the boss. Pretty straight forward.

Next time I plan to bring a dragon slayer and see if I can get the boss discorded (it let me try but I spent my time on the spectrals instead)

Thats interesting enough Blaise. It told me that the spectral rabbits couldn't be provoked.

I didn't want to clutter up your guide post so....

Stage one has - http://uorforum.com/attachments/wildtamers_15-jpg.2106/ Anaconda and Wyvern first.

Stage two doesn't have an Anaconda it has - http://uorforum.com/attachments/wildtamers_14-jpg.2105/ spawn is easier than the first stage.

Chest keys will be on the three bosses corpses.

*Hack the bosses and their spawns (except the spectral rabbits) up for possible peculiar meat drop.
*Always plat in the treasure chests.
*We usually have one designated person unlock it, telekenisis it, ID it, then loot plat. KTT gathers up plat, meat and rares and rolls for them at the end of the quest which adds to the fun factor.

I bandie my pets on all other spawn except the bosses.... Problem is sometimes standing near your pet (even without aggro) in a cluster you'll get hit once, try to hit the heal key or wand key, drink a refresh, run and your dead. If I stand a tile away from the boss healing with bandies while my pets are attacking I have had the boss reaggro onto me = insta death.

Nice start on the taming quest guide Dalavar.

I couldn't provo any of the spawn with a pure bard. Disco failed a ton with a GM instrument. I've only had the bard along once so....

    Discordance is not Provocation.

Looks like we are all set with a 10-member crew. Others are welcome to join, so far I've heard from Artex and Captain Morgan expressing interest in tagging along. If anyone else wants to join, just send me a note on the forums or IRC with your character name and I'll message you on Friday the 8th about place/time to meet. As mentioned above, my only requirement is that you hand over any rares you find. Gold/platinum/magic weapons/etc. are all yours.

I'd like everyone to try to meet up at 10:45pm EST if possible, so we can get started on time. I don't know how long the Mountain Dew is gonna keep me up this late :)

In terms of suggestions, I'd say the following:

    1) follow the guide: http://uorforum.com/threads/zookeepers-quest-guide.5984/

    2) Pick a buddy or two and watch each other's health and pets. Pet owner should be responsible for Curing their own pets so that the buddies can just fire off Greater Heals when needed.

    3) I'll be the one to tank the bosses and keep them occupied since my one condition here was to get the mask if one drops.

    4) If by luck I get a strongbox or painting or whatever else, I'll just sell it and split the cash among the 10 of us. If anyone else snags these, they're all yours to keep.

If I'm available, would you accept assistance from Paws?

Any and all Paws volunteers (excluding Athena if she's paid) would be there as support only, no tame spot wanted. I just want a chance to kill spectral bunnies and a giant green looking Titan.

Gold and scrolls are always be welcome, but all treasures would be given to the scroll handler.

    Thanks!

Of course, would be happy to have Paws along!

If we get enough people, we might even be able to save some of those poor Knights of Ni from their fate!
